Brand Center

Everything Optimeleon understood about one page: its structure, product, audiences, USPs and voice. This is the knowledge every generated variant is built from.

Brand Center is everything Optimeleon understood about one page, laid out so you can read it. It is the output of the scan and the input to every variant that gets built, which makes it the fastest way to find out why a build came back the way it did.

It is read-only. You browse it; you do not fill it in.

The tabs

TabWhat it holds
OverviewThe executive read of the page in a few lines, the sharpest signal found in it, and the counts behind the other tabs.
StructureThe page as a map: its sections in order, and what each one is doing.
ProductWhat the page is actually selling, as the page itself presents it.
AudiencesWho the page addresses. Often more than one, and often not the audience you thought.
USPsThe claims the page makes for itself: its promises and differentiators, extracted from the copy.
VoiceHow the page sounds. This is what keeps generated copy sounding like you rather than like a language model.

Why you should read it before your first build

If the understanding is wrong, the variants will be confidently wrong in the same direction. Five minutes here is the cheapest quality check available to you.

Look for:

  • A missing audience. If the page serves two groups and Optimeleon found one, tell it so in the seed of your next discovery.
  • A claim that is not really your claim. Extracted USPs come from the copy on the page. If your page undersells you, so will the extraction.
  • A voice reading that surprises you. Usually accurate, and usually uncomfortable. It is a fair account of how the page sounds today.
Tip
Brand Center opens for the page you are standing in. Scan a page first: until there is a scan, there is nothing to show, and the sidebar entry stays locked.
It is not a settings screen
Brand Center reflects what was found, not what you would like to be true. To steer a build toward something the page does not yet say, put it in the seed of a discovery. See The optimize loop.
