Project settings
Project profile, tracking domains, script health, conversion events, integrations and your own account: where each setting lives.
Settings configures one project. If you run several, open Settings from the gear beside that project in the project switcher: it selects the project and opens its settings in one step, so you are never editing the wrong one by accident.
The panes
The panes sit under two headings. Project & tracking holds everything that is a fact about the project itself, and Account holds the two that are about you and your colleagues rather than the site.

| General | The project's name, and pause. Pausing stops Optimeleon serving variants on the whole project: visitors see your original pages, and measurement stops with it. Resuming puts the running campaigns back exactly as they were, so it is a safe thing to reach for during an incident or a freeze. Also here: the cookie and storage duration and the session timeout, described below. |
| Domains | The tracking allowlist, meaning the domains Optimeleon accepts events from. See Tracking domains. |
| Script & tracking | A read-only health view of your install: the current snippet, whether it is being served from us, and what the probe found on your live pages. The place to grab the snippet again, and to pick your cookie tool so the snippet carries its exemption. See Installing the script. |
| Conversion events | Your conversion events. Create them, mark one primary, and copy each one's snippet. On Shopify this is also where you pick goals from what your store is already sending. See Conversion events. |
| Server-side tracking | Keys for sending conversions from your own backend, and the developer guide that goes with them. For an order a webhook confirms or a payment that clears later, where there is no browser to fire an event. See Server-side conversions. |
| Integrations | Connected ad accounts (which feed ad-seeded discoveries), your store platform, and the event hooks that forward Optimeleon's decisions into your own tools. See Shopify and Event hooks. |
| Team | Members, their roles, and pending invitations. See Team & roles. |
| Profile | Your own account: name, email, password and sign-in method. |
Cookie and storage duration, and session timeout
Both sit in General, and both change what your cookie banner declares, so tell whoever maintains it when you change one.

| Session timeout | How long a visitor can be inactive before their next action starts a new visit. A visit also always ends 24 hours after it began. | 5 minutes to 24 hours. Default: 30 minutes. |

Setup is not in Settings
The guided install lives at Setup in the sidebar, on its own. Settings holds what is configured; Setup is the checklist that walks you through configuring it. When something is wrong with your install, Setup is the screen that will tell you what. See The setup checklist.
