The optimize loop

Scan a page, get three competing concepts, pick one, watch Leo build it in a real browser, review it, publish. Then the bandit takes over.

Everything you do to a page happens on one screen. Open it from Pages in the sidebar, or from All pages. The loop below runs once to get your first variant live, then as often as you want for as long as the page exists.

01

Scan the page

The scan runs through the browser extension, on your real live page, and works out what the page is: its sections, its product, who it addresses, what it claims, how it sounds. You can browse the result in Brand Center.

Note
Elements read and elements identified are two different numbers. The first is everything the scan walked, often tens of thousands. The second is the far smaller set that turned out to mean something.
02

Find ideas, and get three concepts

Press Find ideas. Optimeleon comes back with three concepts: three different theses about why the page underperforms and what to do about it. A concept is a direction, not a build plan.

Seeding a discovery

Expand the seed box first if you want to steer it. You can add an instruction in plain language, reference images, reference URLs, or one of your ad groups. A seed steers, it never shortcuts: you still get three concepts and still make the choice.

03

Pick one, and dial its ambition

Choose one concept, and set how far its build may go: Surgical, Structural or Whole page (see Core concepts for what each scope permits).

Important
The two concepts you do not pick are discarded, not saved for later. If you want a different thesis, run another discovery.
04

Leo builds it, in a real browser

Leo opens your page in a real browser and reports six stages as he works:

StageWhat is happening
SurveyLooking at the page itself, on desktop and on mobile, before planning anything.
PlanningTurning the concept into concrete moves against real sections of your page.
BuildingWriting the versions.
Responsive checkChecking the result holds up across viewport sizes.
Interaction checkChecking things still work when they are clicked and used.
FinalizingScreenshots, last checks, and the reveal.

Watch Leo work opens a live view of the browser he is driving, with his narration beside it. Nothing there is persisted, so you can close it and the build carries on without you.

05

Review what came back

A finished build leaves an idea card on the page's board, carrying one or more versions. Press Review and a version opens on your own live site, applied, in the extension. Judge it there, at full size, and edit it if you want to.

Not right yet? Build again on the same card. That appends another version rather than starting a second card.

06

Publish

Publishing adds the version to the page's campaign as a new arm and ships it to the edge. From that moment it is served to real visitors and measured.

Important
Nothing reaches a visitor without this click. There is no autonomous publishing.
07

Then the bandit takes over

Your original stays in as the base arm. The allocation algorithm shifts traffic toward whatever is converting and retires whatever has clearly lost, which frees capacity for your next variant. Performance tells you what happened.

What else is on the page screen

  • The live band. What is serving right now and how each arm is doing, with a link into the full Performance drill-down.
  • Ad candidates. With an ad account connected, the ad groups driving traffic to this page, ready to seed a discovery with.
  • Page settings. The page's name, its sidebar emoji, and its target URL.
